DONUT 10: The Season Finale Returns to the Bugatti Rimac Test Track

DONUT 10: The Season Finale Returns to the Bugatti Rimac Test Track

After three rounds and a summer break, the DONUT International Cup is returning to where the season began.

DONUT 10 will take place on 19 and 20 September at the Bugatti Rimac test track in Mičevec. The fourth and final round of the season will bring the last battle for championship points, the crowning of a new regional champion and the milestone tenth edition of a DONUT event.

Tickets for DONUT 10 are available from today, 17 August, through Eventim.

THE FINALE AFTER THREE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ROUNDS

The 2026 season began in April at the Bugatti Rimac test track before moving to Stinice in Split and Westgate City in Zaprešić.

Each location introduced a different layout, set of conditions and challenge.

The opening round offered high-speed drifting across the spacious Mičevec venue. Split brought a more compact track, an industrial setting and spectators positioned close to the action, while Westgate required drivers and teams to adapt to changing weather conditions and a revised event schedule.

Following the first three competition weekends, the drivers had several months to repair, develop and prepare their cars for one final attack on the standings.

In September, there will be no further opportunity to recover lost results. DONUT 10 is the final round of the season and the last chance to score championship points.

THE MILESTONE TENTH DONUT

DONUT 10 is more than the name of the next round.

It will be the tenth event since the project began and a milestone that reflects how far DONUT has developed over the past four years.

What began as a single automotive event has grown into a regional drift championship that brings together drivers from across Europe, thousands of visitors and an audience following the competition trackside, on social media and through professional broadcasts.

The tenth edition will therefore serve both as the conclusion of the current season and as a celebration of the journey from the first event to one of the region’s leading drift platforms.

The Bugatti Rimac test track was selected as the place where those two stories will meet: the final battle for the 2026 title and the milestone event that closes another chapter in DONUT’s development.

RETURNING TO WHERE THE SEASON BEGAN

Returning to the Bugatti Rimac test track will allow for a direct comparison between the drivers and cars at the beginning and end of the year.

When the teams first arrived in April, many were still completing new builds and searching for the right setup. By the finale, they will have three rounds behind them, several months of development and a much clearer understanding of what works under competitive pressure.

The venue provides space for high speeds, long drift zones and tandem battles in which the chase driver must remain close to the lead car with little room for correction.

The same location where the first points of the season were awarded will now decide the final ones.

WHAT WILL DONUT 10 LOOK LIKE?

DONUT 10 will take place over two days.

Saturday, 19 September, will be dedicated to practice and qualifying. Drivers will learn the final track layout of the season, adjust their cars and compete for the best possible position in the elimination bracket.

Sunday, 20 September, will bring the tandem battles and the final outcome of the championship.

Two drivers enter the track at the same time before switching lead and chase positions for the second run. The judges then decide who advances towards the final.

The battles will continue until both the winner of DONUT 10 and the champion of the entire season have been decided.

The detailed timetable will be published ahead of the event on the DONUT website and official social media channels.

THE FINAL OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE THE STANDINGS

A season finale always brings a different level of pressure.

Drivers entering the weekend with a points advantage must find the right balance between protecting their position and fighting for victory. Those further behind no longer have a reason to calculate and must use their final opportunity to attack.

An early elimination, mechanical failure or repeated tandem battle could completely change the final standings.

The title will therefore not be decided by speed alone. Car reliability, teamwork, driver concentration and the ability to adapt will be just as important as aggression on the track.

The final entry list and a detailed overview of the championship battle will be published after registration closes.

MORE THAN THE FINAL ROUND

Competition will remain at the heart of the weekend, but DONUT 10 will offer a full-day experience for visitors.

Alongside the on-track programme, spectators will be able to see the cars up close, follow the teams’ preparations in the paddock and meet the drivers they have watched throughout the season.

Partner zones, food and drink options and additional visitor activities will also be available at the venue.

A special part of the programme will be the final awards ceremony, where the winners of DONUT 10 and the most successful drivers of the entire 2026 DONUT International Cup will be recognised.

After four rounds, we will finally know who delivered the strongest season across different tracks, conditions and opponents.
